KING OF THE HILL RENEWED FOR MORE SEASONS

King of the Hill is returning to Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for season 15 on July 20. Season 15 will have 10 all-new episodes, with the show's July premiere date coming almost a year after King of the Hill season 14, the first installment since the show's revival, was released on Hulu in August 2025.

The series was a huge hit for the streamer, drawing 4.4 million viewers in its first week and making it Hulu and Disney+'s highest-rated adult animated show in the past five years. The show earning an impressive 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes following its season 14 premiere.

Season 15 is just the tip of the iceberg, with King of the Hill set to be renewed for two more seasons — seasons 16 and 17 — which will consist of 20 episodes total. That means the show could run through to 2028, assuming one season is released every year.

Ray Gunn looks like a fun action noir science fiction film at the moment.  Because of that genre, it won't be popular.  'Boy's' films never seem to succeed.  But I wish them the best. We know the budget is big.  At $150 million and it will release on Netflix.  Shame it won't have a feature release.

The film is set to be previewed at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 24.

Hexed.  We still know nothing about this film other than they plan to release it on November 25, 2026.

Frozen 3 is planned for November 24, 2027.

So to recap, here is how Zootopia 2 did. It was a huge hit.

Zootopia 2 grossed $428.1 million in the United States and Canada, and $1.442 billion in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1.870 billion. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 92% of 226 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 7.5/10.

Sony's recent films had no theatrical films for 2025.  Both KPop Demon Hunters and Fixed were released on streaming services.  So that was a miss.

Goat released Feb 13, 2026. Goat grossed $103 million in the United States and Canada, and $91 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $194 million.

I realized we never talked about this film. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 55% of 166 critics' reviews are positive to mixed, with an average rating of 5.50/10. Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 52 out of 100, based on 36 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.

Despite this it was a box office hit. Illumination has had a great 2026 in terms of money making. Despicable Me 4 grossed $361 million in the United States and Canada, and $625.7 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $986.7 million.

It could hit a billion. It is at a box office of $833 million.

As of June 7, 2026, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has grossed $429 million in the United States and Canada, and $572 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $1 billion. Produced on a budget of $110 million, the film is currently the highest-grossing film of 2026 and the highest-grossing animated film of the year.

The film also set the record for the biggest global opening at the box office in 2026, the only animated film franchise with two films opening to over $350 million globally, the fifth-biggest global opening for an animated film of all time, the second-biggest global opening for an Illumination film, the second-biggest opening for a film based on a video game, and the fourth-biggest Easter three-day opening of all time.
