Today at school was a hard long day and I looked back tonight at some of my oldest stuff to help calm me down and I realized there are a few things I have not shared with other people. I did get more done today than I have all of last week
, but it still was a tough day. )
I want the title to be shorter...but I really can't make it any shorter. I'm going to show some links to art I have not shown before, or maybe I have with one of them, but I definitely know for sure that I haven't shown two of them anywhere.
All three of these came at a very rough point in my life and helped me see I wasn't alone. Some days are just plain tough =( Some weeks, or a month, or a few months, are just sucky and stupid. I can't allow my life to be decided by those bad times =) These were drawn by different people, but I love each of them with a ton of heart because they meant so much to me at the time, and I still love seeing them.
These do NOT LEAVE HERE. Each one of the artists that have drawn these specifically told things. I want to share these because I feel maybe other people will like them =) Please do not share any of these to anyone else outside of here =( I do not want the artists to be mad.
The first one is perhaps the first time anyone has done a specific scene in a story of mine.

I know it's also one of my oldest stories I've ever done that I have shared online ^^;. That doesn't matter to me. What does matter is someone else took notice and cared enough about what I did to actually ask me if there was something he could do for me.

I'm not sure why exactly I was having a terrible month, but it was not a good month at all. =( This friend helped dig me out of my depressed mood and this drawing was a light in the dark for me =) I really, really appreciated this drawing he did.

The second one was draw literally the night before I left on my two year church mission. I probably have shown this here on the first psf...but in case I haven't, here it is

I was REALLY shy back then but I wanted to do a lot for other people and make new friends. Sometimes I went overboard ^^; but I did the best I could. I slowed down a lot during the spring of 2012 because I knew I had an important life choice to make. I could serve a full 2 year church mission for my church, or I could stay at home and continue college. I decided to go on my 2 year mission, despite the new friendships I had made and knowing that it was VERY POSSIBLE that any of my friends could have disappeared while I was gone.
The night before I left was July 3rd, 2012. I was an emotional wreck but I hid my feelings until I was alone in my room at night. I was worried and frightened and nervous about everything. I went on my computer at about 3 in the morning on DA and a new note was there that I wasn't expecting.
The artist who drew this was a girl I had just barely met about a week earlier. We had talked on notes about some pretty serious topics, some religious and some life importance stuff. I guess she really appreciated what I told her, because she decided to make this thing for me before I left. (in case that is why anyone is wondering why this thing is mostly purple except the beginning XDDDDD I have no clue why she had her basic layer purple, but it definitely is a cool color and it surprisingly works well here =). She was going to color it while I was gone but I never was able to directly contact her again
) I don't know if she is still active on DA, and her username was a really weird spelling so I totally botched spelling her username right ^^; however, I will never forget the kindness she gave me in doing this thing. This drawing at that early morning hour helped me calm myself down and I was reminded why I had decided to go on a 2-year mission in the first place: to help as many people as I could and to serve my God and the people of where I went on my mission ^^
Honestly? Those two years were incredible. I did more and accomplished more in those two years than all my life before that, so.....about 19 years. I was 19 when I went =)
3. I have to be the most careful about this one. This was back in late 2011. I'll share it at the end rather than at the beginning, and there's a good reason for doing that. Most people may not even know who this character is XD. I love Looney Toons, and Duck Dodgers is one of the funniest modern spins on the entire series. There's a lot of twists on existing characters, lots of new faces, and surprisingly has a serious tone in some episodes instead of just wacky and wild all the time. One of those new characters is Queen Tyr'ahnee, or more commonly known as the Martian Queen. BY FAR my favorite original Looney Toon character is Marvin the Martian, and when I learned he would have a queen he served, that alone sucked me in. This character though is a boss. She's an incredible character and honestly has quite the importance in some of the major plot points in the show XD.
A very long time ago I tried...and failed =(...to make a story based off of this show with the Martians catching an Earth cold but there was no known natural immunity for the Martians so they had to learn the hard way what sneezing is and how to take care of each other. There's a good reason why I failed to make a story during that time, but that's a real personal thing and it'd take a long time to explain.
Pretty much I was in a really, really bad depressed state and my friend here helped get me out of it with this gift. She called this a colored doodle...and if this was a colored doodle I'm a sitting duck with my art XD. Here it is:

LONG TOPIC POST IS DONE =). Anyway, even though I had a rough day, doesn't mean it will turn into a rough week =) I just gotta do my best and keep moving forward.
