Allergen Daze (Pinkie Pie, F)

Another drawing from @✨proponypal✨’s DA page, this time featuring Pinkie Pie.

I absolutely love the inflating chest at the buildup and the jumpy release. She don’t look pretty allergic for me, it’s more like her reaction on the dust in «The Saddle Row Review» (and I see a resemblance to another very old sneeze artwork). Anyway, the good tickle is familiar to Pinkie, and she does a lot of various sneezes without restraining herself .

There are more fresh works at this DA page, but they aren’t jumpy .

I love her build up and I also do like her jumpy sneeze as well.  Her eyes especially in the buildup look desperate and I admit I do love desperate-looking buildups  .  Great job ProPonyPal .  I also like how the force of her sneeze causes her to jump up and stand on her front hooves too.

Well shiiiiiiitt. That is damning.  She gave no credit on the DA posts either, so she is passing it off as her own. 


Even still, if she had said they were someone else's work, she did a nice job re-lining them and coloring them.  I like the additional spray.

Disappointing.

I commented on the Fluttershy one, and I'll say the same thing here too. First, thank you for showing the Catbutt artwork link! =) I honestly haven't seen the art in a very long time.

P3 and Catbutt are friends to me. I don't want to call P3's artwork here lazy or theft. If this artwork is lazy, the traditional pencil sketches I am able to draw is couch potato level of lazy XD

It is possible P3 didn't think or was tired while posting the artwork on DA. It is also possible that this is theft.

No matter what happens in the future, I am thankful for both P3 and Catbutt. Both of my friends have supported me multiple times during the years I've known them both =)

Yes, I remember there was an old drawing, but I totally forgot the original author name (already mentioned on DA page). So, it’s an adaptation to P3’s style... with adding the extra spray which should be there, even if PSF’s background color makes it almost invisible.
Also, in my headcanon, the jumpy sneeze is always a single, because none is left inside the nose after such blast. If there is a fit... well... it must be the last sneeze in the sequence... after several deep «aah... aaaah... aaah»s .

She added the artist's name after the fact.  After she saw people talking here, she added the artist.   

But let's put this aside.  I really like it when P3 does G4 content.  I still prefer it to G5.

She added Catbutt's name to the description when she realized she got caught lifting someone else's work.  Made the new description to act like this was there all along and NOW giving Catbutt some credit.  She had no problem with the old description never including Catbutt's name since it's original posting on April 18.  She only changed it on May 2 the very day I pointed this out.  I snapped a screen grab of her original post.  I can share it if I need too, but I think people got the picture here. Probably hoped it her lifting of Catbutt's work was old enough that no one would remember or care. 

It's too bad because she can do great work, but she can get real lazy with it too.  Theft is just *shakes head* not good.

I do really like these, quite a lot actually.  But now seeing the full story, I'm kinda upset about the circumstances.   She'll kind of need to rebuild some of the trust that was lost from this. If she was honest from the beginning and said these were tracings of the originals by Catbutt and colored, instead of trying to pretend this is some sort of "homage" or "re-interpretation" of their work, that might be better.  She did completely change the descriptions.  I saw that yesterday when I looked to today.

I could tell right away these were drawings originally done by Catbutt.   I used to talk to Catbutt a lot on the old PSF mlpchan days.   These turned out great!  Really nice! I love the humpy style and 'roundness' of these style Catbutt employed.

I love how Catbutt drew Pinkie sneezing!  This is quite good and a nice color by P3.

That sneeze pose is one of my favs.  The strength is fantastic!

I do not like the stealing nor do I like how they then tried to make it look right and I even worse, they clearly haven't said anything about it.  Nice of you to notice, but the masses on DA have not.  Shouldn't support theft.
