I asked him to use the scene as a reference. Angel Bunny seemed an appropriate stand-in for the chipmunk.

It was one of my favorite sneeze scenes from The Simpsons, for what littlee there was. X3 But yes, Sudo is correct. ^^ He asked for it to be inspired by the scene with Lisa Simpson and I adapted it with Fluttershy and Angel Bunny. ^^

I don't copy anything in my original work let alone commissions of any kind (I'm not saying you're accusing me of that). :) If a client says "draw me something like from this sequence", I adapt it into my own style and comicbook format. Most clients offer insight as to putting a twist on the reference (i.e. such as the Callie/Katrina comics); I don't think I've ever had anyone request it be exactly a shot-for-shot remake. XD
