Hottest damn day of the year, and the city just went and turned off the water to make repairs to the main, or something.  Not even enough to wash dishes or cook, and I had to go fetch a jug of water from the pool outsideto refill the toilet tank... (I simply had to flush; I did something unspeakable after lunching on macaroni and cheese with green chili burritos.   :nervoussmile: :-]  )
