If you want to get anal be anal about it, my dear, it's an underserved space, not a ghost town.

According to the population chart in my well-thumbed copy of Mirriam-Webster's Dictionary, bought from the campus bookstore three decades past, Blytheville was close to 25,000 souls and a bunch of heels in 1990.  It's now about 12,000, I believe.  A lot of those people did indeed leave after the air base shut down. You've read my comic, I trust...?  Sadly, despite what my mother would frequently insist, I don't exaggerate by much....

Amazing America 250 everyone! What a celebration!

Incredible Fourth of July, America's Independence.  250th year since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.  America celebrated big.  The President gave two big speeches and celebrations were held across the country including the largest fireworks display ever in the USA at Washington DC. America celebrated big and it drew in people from around the world. Here are the highlights.

America's 250 years in a nutshell.

Mount Rushmore Fireworks Show with various speeches, singers, Native American's, President's speech, and fireworks.

America 250 military jet flyovers. All day the military did unique flyovers for the the public in Washington DC.
