OH MY GOSH!  Spike is so cute!  I don't believe his little disclaimer either.  I haven't seen a friendship blossom as much as these two in this series.  It's so great to see, and I can't help but see some feelings.... I mean even Starlight wanted him to rub her down there....

But my biggest concern is the huge age gap.  Isn't Spike like... a kid kind of? 

I do like how Spike tried to repay her kindness with a "on-the-verge" asking on a date kind of thing.  It was super cute and something fans of this series will be exploding about.  I'm exploding right now...

What is Spike's age?  Can we ship him with Starlight?

Oh my god. Spike in that 3rd panel. That is adorable, at the same time, those eyes. They look all sneaky-ish.
Then Starlight. Jeez. Calm down woman.
Also, "butts". Spike stop being speaking my mind XP

As for shipping Spike and Starlight. I feel it would be hypocritical of the people who ship Sparity to say they can't be shipped due to age. As for me, I don't ship Spike with Rarity because of the whole age thing (also cuz Rarity doesn't like him that way either so...), so I don't actively ship Spike and Star. Though I can't deny they have a chemistry that's even shown in the Season Premiere. I like the friendship they have in this series. Though Star is starting to make me uncomfortable with how she's telling Spike, who at most in this comic is a teenager, to make advances on her. Series is starting to go the squick direction for me with those two.

You know, after that "bananas" strip a few episodes ago, I'm surprised no one has shipped Spike and Sweetie Belle.  I'm sure they often find themselves left alone to commiserate while the older girls are... off enjoying themselves.  Plus it would sort of make Rarity and Twi almost in-laws. Expect the obligatory line from Rarity about "What will the kids look like?!" and Twilight fixing her with a dirty look, while pondering scientifically the possibility of fire-breathing dragon/Pony hybrids....

Is she really leading Spike down a dirty path or is it just friends joking around?  Can this be taken innocently? 

I too was surprised there weren't more people shipping Spike and Sweetie Belle a few comics back.

This comic doesn't yet seem to really push or ship anything.  It just tells a convoluted story of messed up characters that we somehow care for and possibly relate too.

Well, considering those eyes she fixed Spike with. Though maybe she was telling him to get her lower back and not be afraid of offending her. As people who give massages do have to go pretty far down for the lumbar muscles. Who knows.

Spike and Sweetie are cute, I am also surprised people didn't ship them as they're often left alone together.

I too was surprised Sweetie Belle and Spike were't shipping by people.

I do think Starlight seems extra provocative to Spike in this comic.  I can't tell Spike's intentions at first, he just seems happy to do something to get paid or whatever.  But Starlight seems pretty... sexual about it?  I'm not sure that was her intent.

This one today has tons of feelings.  Prepare your FEELS.
