Those were REAL sneezes, but just not for the reason Glim said they were.  Real sneezes, but not allergy sneezes!  I don't think Glimmer has allergies does she?

I know her nose can be sensitive to scents though as we've seen when Spike wore a cologne.

AWESOME!  Those sneezes seemed rather smooth, something @timmelon and I seem to like. 

It's also nice that Starlight at least attempted to cover her sneezes.   I also felt that Lily would be the pony who would say "bless you" after every single sneeze because she feels it's polite.

I saw that and thought the same thing.  Lily's too nice and good.   She's adorable how she catches on and tries to call Starlight's bluff.

I think this series does a great job with the sneezes we seem to get semi-regularly.  I think that's why we follow it, or at least part of the reason.

I want to go back and try and find all the sneeze comics and mentions of allergies and colds, sneezing, etc in this series.  It would be a nice collection to keep maybe at the first post of this topic.

Starlight's still a meanie to poor Lily.  But luckily Lily can sort of counter, but in a nicer way.

Well, the sneezes were nice and strong, looks like Starlight's nose really needed it for a long time, but there wasn't a proper trigger before (so she got a chance to solve two problems — stuffy nose and unwanted plants). Just one thing bothers me: why noone turns away before having a sneeze? It doesn't take a lot of time, and you may not worry about how effective was your covering . Of course, there is an even better decision: to take a few steps away and don't restrain yourself in any matter — strong sneezes never happen without a reason .
And I don't know about politeness, but some people just like to say «bless you», part of them because it's a vital part of a sequence , part of them — because it's shorter than «don't feel yourself uncomfortable, your sneeze is fine to me».
And I like how Spike immediately takes the cover.

Yessss, yessss... Some recovery is needed after a strong sneeze.
(wishful thinking ahead) If this comic would have more detailed drawing style, I would not mind a little disarray in a mane, with its recovering in a next frame . You know, not every manecut can withstand the wild head swing .

I don't know how you found so many so quickly, but you raise two points I want to bring up real fast!  Upon looking through your photos, Spike seems to almost ALWAYS be there when a pony sneezes.  Are they allergic to him?  Teehee!  He also seems to get sneezed on or is around somepony sneezing often.  No wonder Spike took cover!

I went through the links you provided and every pony sneezes into the open air without covering, BUT Starlight does sneeze away from Spike here and technically Twilight sneezes away from him once here, but it backfires.  Both among my favorite comic episodes! But overall, it seems fairly common for ponies to sneeze openly... or they just aren't drawn covering up because it's funnier not to? 

Now I want to see Lily sneeze.  It is mentioned once she sneezes in threes.  I can't find the episode.

Am I the only one who loves how the characters sneeze in this?  Sometimes it's natural sneezes like this gem by Cadance too!   Actually they are mostly natural sneezes in this series that happen by chance.  I like it because usually a whole panel is used for the pre-sneeze, once panel for the sneeze, and often times we get to see some sneeze recovery in a third panel.

Ah, since I have a good memory for sneeze episodes (and thanks to tags, in case if I forgot something), adding links to that message costed me less then 20 minutes.
«Many» is a word for actual G4 episodes, well, collecting them took a really long time .

But overall, it seems fairly common for ponies to sneeze openly... or they just aren't drawn covering up because it's funnier not to? 

I think pony limbs just aren't aplicable for efficient catching of all spray particles*. Better for ponies is to concentrate on the nose cleaning (and do it in safe direction, especially while sneezing that way ) and do something else only after it comes back to normal.

*well, at least they can cover their noses to avoid sneezing, like Sunset did it once. But it was Sunset, I bet that Pinkie would not stand against so big temptation in that episode .

Fantabulous collecting you guys.  I think we pretty much have them all that I can remember.  Some are very compelling.  I also think we should include the chopsticks one when Spike grabs Lily's nose with chopsticks.

I wonder if Starlight has a sneeze kink?  You think that would even be in the thought process of the writers of this comic series?  I highly doubt it, but from my goggles it makes me want to say she does. She seems to love sneezing and is very interested in them, especially when she is watching Lily sneeze through that peep hole too.

Look at how busy you all are!  Lol. You can read into Starlight's comments a lot and pick up what you want.  But as an outsider, I didn't think much of Starlight's comments.  People tend to think sneezes feel good?  But now that you mention it... maybe Starlight is into it TOO much?  Hmmmm.
