The Strand: oh, a very familiar situation .

One light burns out, the whole strand of lights stops working.  It is the most frustrating thing in the world.

I laugh because I feel her pain. BTW how old are those lights? Most of the modern ones are built to ensure the strand stays lit if one goes out.

I bought a brand new strand of lights this year to line some windows. 

Less than a month in, it has burned out already.    I already threw out the receipt.
