I understand why you have them.  Kills the flies, but then you got to think.... how to stop the source of the flies and squeeters?

Reglaze a couple of broken windows and  patch a hole or two in the wall... but that can get expensive.  Also, I live near an  immense  wooded area which gets terribly swampy come the rainy season and is a breeding ground for pests.

Not if the drainage ditches do their job and the plumbing holds up during cold snaps.... the lower-lying areas do sump a bit of water, though, when it's really bad.

Hopefully it works out for you.  You are probably past the rainy season though?  Winter is over.

Oh, the rain should be with us a while yet, you know, "April showers" and all that.  But at least we're past all the snow and ice. Had a couple bad seasons in the last few years-- February snow turns into spring runoff and the creeks rise. Then we've seen the other extreme-- a dry spell that went on for a good part of the summer, and a lot of the smaller ponds and lakes 'round here got down to the lowest of the low-water marks.

That Rarity spider is kind of cute-- I could live with those in my house. Wanna see a scary spider, now...? Have a change of knickers at the ready....

We've had our rainforest winter on record here and a good amount of snow. Worried when the mountain snow melts in our rivers. But we have record snow pack. Our lakes are already high and our extended forecast is rain for two weeks.

Green socks Twilight?  I can barely dress myself in the morning and even I know those clash.

It didn't look bad.  Besides, bright colors are in right now. ;)

It's been raining a lot in the AT&F universe.  Last three posts at least.
