Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the new game from From Software, creators of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne (which is what they're now real known for, but they've made a slew of other stuff). I might just be an idiot, but much like other Souls-like games, the story is not directly given. From what I can understand, you are a shinobi called Wolf where you must I guess rescue your Lord/Master? The start of the game, you're about to rescue him when you basically end up getting your arm sliced off.

Turns out you can't die or something. You're dragged away and your arm is replaced with a prosthetic that can be equipped with multiple tools that you can use at your disposal. Main gameplay consists of exploring the areas and fighting enemies. Fighting consist of either widdling their health down till you kill them, or breaking their posture so that you can sneak in a killing counter attack. Although like enemies, you have your own posture that can be broken, so you have to watch out for that.
You'll mostly be deflecting enemy attacks to widdle their posture down, which requires good timing. Areas are real open and vertical, so you can explore freely with your arm that has a grapple hook on it. Sneak around some places to get some easy one hit kills, good stuff.

Also it's hard as fuck (hence my reply of "You die"). I believe they've said while developing the game that they planned on making the game harder than Bloodborne and the Souls Series in general. With the new mechanics implemented, yeah, I'd say they did a pretty damn good job.

It's been hyped ever since its reveal. Not only that but it's a From Soft game.
