Good photos.  One thing i noticed in the live stream was how detailed and how good the towns and cities looked.  They modeled the actual buildings on each street, which is... AMAZING.

This Cheyenne update shows that as well.  As a train nerd, I do like the different engines they show in these photos.  As with the stream the other day, trains have a new important role in ATS.  We also saw new SUPER LONG trains, both parked and moving in the stream.  In cities, we will see super long lines of rail cars too.  Super cool!

Wyoming DLC will be released in the first half of September 2021.

I saw the long trains and was super happy they finally did this.  Trains that are hundreds of cars long are common in the US.

This is a quote I saw from this website.

"A US freight train length is anywhere between 140 feet and 10,000 feet or 1.9 mile. However there were instances where a freight train has reached over 18,000 feet or 3.4 miles, pulling 295 cars.

The smallest length, 140 feet,  is a combination of one locomotive and one train car, where the locomotive has approximately 73 feet and the train car has another 68 feet.  This is rarely seen outside rail yards.

Now on the other side, the 10,000 feet train would consist of 140 train cars and 6 locomotives.

At this moment federal or state authorities do not impose a limit on how long a train can be."

Comments say Volvo increases its presence in the game, this time by construction vehicles as a cargo. So, as we can see last years, non-map updates are often a surprise for us, and I hope it’s not a substitute for <insert another truck brand> tuning pack ;D.

A new Heavy Cargo would be nice.  The Volvo trucks may have been a giveaway.  While nice, this really isn't that interesting to me.  They could have used generic tractors like they already do and I would be fine.  I don't pay attention to my cargo beyond how much it weighs.  Thats just me though.

I would prefer detailed new trucks to drive.

I am just making predictions all over the place.

You were close.  I will give you that.  It looks like it will come out in September.

Same.  I would prefer more trucks. ;D  Don't care about licensed cargo if that is what it actually ends up being.  What next?  They going to license McDonald's to use them for fast food restaurants around the game world? Lol.

I do like the prospects of more cargo though, even though I only do External Contracts.

It is very safe to say a September release.  You could pretty much use APD's prediction for August and use the same time frame for September.

Is it just another live stream or maybe a trailer with a release date? :)

I'm happy with anything.  But I think a release date hint has a good chance at happening.  They might not say the exact day yet, but at least give us a good idea.   (aok)

Wyoming DLC will be released in the first half of September 2021.
Finally! So, we have a little time to end some currently unfinished business in Iberia* (fill the last garage with trucks/trailers, discover the last city etc.) and move to Wyoming. That video from your link shows the previously announced livestock trailer, so it will likely be there, and not in 1.42.
*if not the chip shortage, I would propose to find a video card which can give the FPS level which is comparable with that trailer, but it’s a lot of money today. Well, maybe it’s not so bad right now: my current video card today has price — compared to in April :-0.
It is honestly amazing to see how much SCS has improved things even since Colorado.  When looking back at old Oregon and Washington, it looks like a whole different game.  Wyoming has taken it all to a whole new level with no lackluster details.  I hope they will spend time to spruce up some of the older states and their nature.  The town details in Wyoming is also extremely impressive. :D

I am driving Iberia this week and like Tim here, will be packing up my belongings, wishing my drivers well, as I move back to the US to drive in Wyoming for awhile, lol.  :D

Wanna more hype? ;D
What a cute baby trailer, it reminds us what a crazy length restriction can exist in old European cities ;D.
I like the story, and it seems the popularity of the game opens more and more factories for the SCS team. I wonder, this young guy with 1500 hours of playing was a truck sim fan and then decided to work in trucking industry, or he started playing ETS while already being a factory worker? ;D I vote 80:20 for a first option.
