Well both are in BETA now! :D  There is just so much new stuff! :D  I've been staring at these maps for about a half hour, lol.  Can't wait to drive em'.

I am curious what they did to change Klagenfurt.  That was one of my bases.  I liked that town and it was one of the more unique locations in the game to begin with. They better not have destroyed my lakefront garage!  lol!

I am surprised they showed nothing on Sacramento.  Looking at the map, it looks like the area round it has changed, but it's hard to tell.  Doesn't look like much inner city driving.

San Rafael being gone is weird.  I wonder if it will still be a built up area and a scenery town?  If it's just nature, that would make no sense.

Well, even if testing will go very well, we still have at least one or two weeks before the actual release ;D.

I am waiting one to two weeks.  No big deal.  I'm a patient man.  lol

Still waiting for them to fix the clipping grass that goes through an entire portion of roadway in Coos Bay or this massive invisible ground section in Brno.  So I can clearly wait a long time. ;D

It looks like they smoothed out and made a proper interchange from the freeway that came from the former San Rafael to Sacramento.  My only concern is with how big the cities are becoming on the map, the open road areas keep getting smaller.  This is evident between Sacramento and Truckee, as well as Sacramento and Redding.  Redding expanded pretty far south.  Open freeway also keeps getting more windy and curvy since they don't have space to add it all, which isn't exactly accurate to life.

I like the multiple new curvy passes they have added to Austria.  They look fun on the map.  I guess I will find out in a few weeks how they are.

I'm wondering if there will be a WoT event upon the release of 1.44 to get people to travel to the new Northern California and new Austria?

WARNING.  What I post below may be spoilers for upcoming content in SCS games.
New files indicate that SCS is already hard at work on the California Rework Phase 3.  New towns names and signs have been found in the game files as well as confirmation that US 120 will expand in California.  There is also some heavy evidence of Nevada rework already in some sort of development.  The specific files have been found, with photographic evidence, and have been posted on the SCS forums.
Many are speculating the next truck will be the new Kenworth T680.  SCS has recently been prominently taking photos from their recent trucking event in Ontario, with the T680 in the forefront of all their photos.  Then it got even more obvious with this specific post.

Hmm... I see there are no mention of big engines for T680 NG on official site, only Paccar MX-11 and MX-13 up to 510 HP, although I have already see a lot of photos of this truck with Cummins X15 under the hood.
So, I hope 600-HP engine will not disappear ;D.

Thanks for the spoilers.  We all knew that rework was coming, but it's nice you had some specifics.

Also, that truck is a major improvement visually over the old one.  Wasn't this going to be used for some hybrid of electric truck PACCAR was working on as well?

Good insider news, MasterX. All of those sound like good things we sort of expected.  But it is nice to have more confirmation.  Was there any ETS2 news that has been discovered beyond what we know so far?

No.  Nothing.  ATS has a lot more separate things in development.  ETS2 has the Austria rework (followed by another unknown rework afterward), the upcoming Balkans, and no word on a new ruck yet.

A big pack of screenshots from upcoming Texas DLC — that means we can see how the other coast of available region will look ;D, and look forward how we finally making a coast-to-coast delivery. BTW, I made a little research and found out than until patch 1.11 (2014) ETS2 map didn’t have any connection with Mediterranean sea (Venice didn’t exist in the early design of the map), and until Viva La France DLC there were no companies from Mediterranean ports, so, for the first four years ETS2 players also could not take coast-to-coast deliveries across the continent.

Woweee!  This is in my mind the best Texas update so far!  I love seeing a new coastline and the more industrial coast of the Gulf (As compared to the more rugged and natural Pacific coast). I have been the Corpus Christi and Brownsville. It's weird looking at these photos and recognizing places again.  I also can get a different feel from so many of these photos.  All previous posts the regions had ties to the Pacific more than they did the Gulf.  We can really see a change here with Texas and how it looks. The big difference is the different trees and how flat everything is becoming in these photos.  No horizon of mountains or hills.

In the last two photos, they teased we will be taking a ferry boat.

That bit of research you did was interesting too.  I never really thought about that.  Weird.  We were so close, but yet so far. ;
