It's really looking good.  I loved how they updated the Austria and Northern Calfornia part of the map.  The new Bay Area around SF is fantastic. Can I also point out the improved palm trees shown in this blog post?  So much more detailed.

It's going to feel so nice to go back and explore earlier parts of the map again.

Also, I might be a conspiracy theorist, but I am noticing little changes on old parts of the map.  I think SCS has been adding new assets to older parts such as trees and fixing landscaping, mountains, etc, and they aren't advertising that to us.  I was exploring Washington and Oregon again, and I swear things are changing there I don't remember.  New mountains added along I-5 between Everett and Bellingham. Improvements in trees, etc.  Just little things here and there.  Same with Utah.

I know they've made some changes, like gas stations, the Wasatch Range in Utah, etc... but not sure about the other states.  Are you just forgetting how lovely and detailed they were originally? :D

There is a big difference from original content in ATS to original content in ETS2.  In ETS2 it is unbearable to go to. ;D  In ATS it's good, not as accurate or detailed, but good.

With the current size of both ATS and ETS maps and my habit to make every delivery route with opening at least one unexplored section, a lot of locations are seen just once or twice a year, so its easy for me to forget how they were looking before ;D.
A totally different experience to one I had in 2016-2017, where I could use one highway back and forth a couple times a day... especially in California.

I try to go to every place, but sometimes I have fav routes I do over. Early on in the games when we had limited places to go, I would memorize my routes by landmarks along the road. ;D

I do exclusively external contracts and have for years.  I don't do it so much for money, but to explore new places and areas I haven't.  Somedays I will just feel an urge to go visit Paris or Tucson... and I will just go there. :D
