Thank you for the reminder about those hidden roads ;D. Of course, that specific street is closed for trucking, but that was expectable, so, no reason to be frustrated when coming there.

Today’s stream was mostly focused on driving forward with a trailer attached. Looking at the pretty narrow training routes, I think the next one (with different ways of reversing) must be fun to watch ;D.

You are welcome for the reminder. :D

Reversing trailers will be MUCH more fun to watch.

I like this — just take enough dynamite and cut the land bridge ;D. I hope the map modellers will make player-available not only the bridges from the screenshots, but also the Canal’s west end, where you can find the submersible bridge (notice a fish at 1:15. I would like to throw it back to the sea ;D) and the remains of the ancient railroad prototype.

P.S. Not the best idea of selling clothes (or food) several steps away of the road... until every truck will be electrical ;D.

Submersible bridge! Thats so weird.  Seems like it would wear the materials of the bridge down.  Certainly unique.  That would be a neat travel method.

This is why I love this game.  We can learn so much about the world around us.

A neat looking update.  I am aware of that very very very narrow canal, lol! :D  Neat to see it get some form of appearance in the game!

Something tells me this state will have some hidden roads to the forests and swamps ;D.
As for today’s driving school stream (again!), this time they didn’t continue the ETS course, but started in ATS driving academy with its different location and longer truck.

Surprise surprise!  Lol!  Not really. ;)  They have three state DLC's announced for ATS right now, that is a lot.  I bet they will head to Chicago in one direction and the other will go towards Florida.

So recently there have been a lot of trailer DLCs for ETS2.  I got to thinking.  They have that JCB and Volvo DLC.  Two other good additions would be CAT and Johne Deere.

I have also been exploring the new California rework since you all have been talking about.  I found a ton of hidden roads.  I think it might have the most hidden roads per density of any area.  Santa Cruz has hidden roads as does around Stockton and Modesto through farm fields that make their own road network!

They are much further ahead then I expected.  It is already looking pretty good.  Still a lot of details not there, but it's good.

No info about the date of 1.52 release, but they have just made an announcement of Germany rework planned for 1.53! Of course, the BMW headquarters in München is super recognizable (although most of its shots I have seen were made at daylight and from above ;D) — after Darwing and Lifter, I wonder how the developers will name this brand.

Another golden comment today:

(the name makes me think he would much more like to see the map DLC scheduled to release 2.5 years ago ;D)

^ Lol! Can't really blame them.  I've said it before, that their rework schedule for Germany was really confusing.  I guess it was their first place they started reworking and since then, they improved how they did it such as with California, Switzerland, and Austria.  Germany was a mess.  Either do the whole thing or by region.  Don't break it down by motorways... then some cities, then some other cities, then some other ones, all randomly around the country.  I will be happy when we don't have to hear about German reworks anymore.

Do I win an award for a sour grapes post? :D

^Well, maybe first they wanted to make a rework in other way, but later the plans have changed. Remember how ATS was released with 1:35 map scale, but after several months the map was remade in usual 1:20 — it looked like they wanted to cover more states faster, but after numerous complains, the company decided to concentrate on better detailing.
A list of available cities with similar names becomes longer ;D.

P.S. After doing several deliveries of Bromine, I think this cargo also may be nerfed in the future (as they did with Boom Lifts) — carrying it on the maximum size trailer gives up to 273 dollars per mile on my level, so, you need to travel only 235 miles to get back the price of the cheapest TP Double, or 343 miles for my fully-painted one.

^ That last pic is a very cool looking trailer!!!! Wow!

They need to stop with the similar names.  Lol! There are like 21,000 incorporated towns in the USA! Plenty of different names to use. ;D Lol!
