If you play online, be prepared to be surrounded by people playing cops.

I am LOVING this update!  The rocks and canyons are so much more detailed in Arizona and New Mexico in the new areas.

some new engines (in the middle of the line, so I am not interested ;D) and mirror cameras for Renault T
Need to take my word back . Despite the lower maximum HP, those two new turbo compound engines have higher torque available at lower RPM (which, of course, is more preferable for tractors ;D), so no wonder that the new 440 HP engine is at higher level than the older 460 HP, and the same with old 520 and new 480.

Also, the new dashboard seems to have the smallest numbers in the game — even in zoom, you can barely see these 10   15   20   rpm × 100 under the tachometer.

SCS leaked the new Benelux region map and it is DENSE.  This is going to be a jam packed area. It looks good but I wonder if it will just feel urban the entire time?

It looks almost as dense as the neighbour part of Germany (where Köln, Dusseldorf and Duisburg are close enough to look as one big city), so I think it should feel similar to it. Notice how they changed the shoreline a bit, so maybe that long dam near Groningen will look completely different from what we have now.

The Benelux, if I am honest, is not that exciting for me.  I am looking forward to the UK, Ireland, Iceland.  I mean that is a pretty hard group of DLC's to compete against.

UK desperately needs the rework — it’s the oldest part of the map since Germany was rebuilt in 2018-2024 ;D.

I don't even go to the UK anymore because it's so old looking.

The amount of road refreshed and updated in 1.58 is a lot.  You can see Route 66 completely redone between California to Tucumcari, New Mexico!

On the map, the big interchange in Albuquerque looks smaller than before.

I don't know if it's smaller or not.  I have yet to go there again. :S So much roads I got to retrieve, but thankfully with new scenery. I always love seeing what SCS changes. It looks like they go rid of a lot of the weird roads and areas north of ALB the old map had.  They moved the location of a lot of things in just that one city.

Tucumcari is very different too. I used to stop at that city all the time in the game.  The road layout is very different now.

Camp Verde, Arizona on the map looks like an actual city layout now.  The old one was terrible.

Flagstaff is more curvy and the interchanges have been altered.  I am sure the downtown is now more accurate too.

In short, the big reworks of Arizona and New Mexico have started before Nevada, where only Las Vegas had a rebuilt ;D.

P.S. 7000+ posts! [excited]

No joke, I think they will rework Las Vegas again eventually when they do all of Nevada.  The west side of the city is still like the original game.  They reworked the south, east, and north, but the west is still old fashioned with very old assets.

WOOO!!! 7,000 POSTS!!  [excited] [excited]
