SCS community talking about IVECO trucks.  Note English is not their first language on most of these.

i'm not sure if i'm remembering this correctly but wasn't IVECO a little upset at there ingame model having painted mirrors when the real version doesn't.

Why the relations with Iveco seem frozen? We lack only the more recent S-Way that was largely available just 2 years ago (and even so, in that moment I saw more Fords F-Max in the road than S-Ways, it took time for that truck to be a common sight). We have to remember that the usual is a company releases a truck IRL, then SCS can start to model it to the game (what takes them no less than 1 year).

In social media SCS seems that doesn't react to Iveco publications(and vice versa) like they do with other manufacturers (I didn't remenber seen SCS favs or comments on Iveco social media).
The newest Iveco in game is from 2013 and is one of the trucks with least options(and also one of the oldest), only one cab(there are at least lowroof cab IRL) you can't eliminate fenders or other parts that with other trucks you can, we didn't have in game any of the restilings the S-Way has IRL since 2013(like we have with other trucks), or special paintjobs for the aniversaries of Pegaso or Magirus, or some new trims.

Here in my region Iveco is probably the most seen brand on the road and since day one you can see lots of S-ways (I think the truck launch in 2019 an many fleets here change their trucks to the new S-ways, probably the dealer here make a good launch campain) and at the start no, but right now the proportion of Hiways vs Sway is almost 50% each but these days maybe hiways are decreasing a bit.

On the other hand the Fmax i think is also from 2019 in Spain but here I see the first one last year, they are pretty rare around here.

It is sure that new trucks are coming and probably the one i would like to see the most is the S-way but is the one i have the least hope to see in game.
Whatever it comes it will be welcome on my part, i'm dreaming to see something more exotic traction wise like electric or gas, but i will acept  any truck

I really understand that some think ETS2 is trailing behind referring to new trucks. I would love to see the S-Way for example, but IVECO seems to be a dead end at the moment... Other brands are lacking content, too (new Scania engines f.e.) But I take, whatever comes and the new WS is probably going to be a big one!  :D

Yeah if anything it means that it is another truck out of the list and the next one is coming up.

Similarly I am very happy we are getting a new truck, I am sure more will come for ETS as well - Iveco looking at you!

I still hope SCS will find a key to Iveco’s licensing office.
It can look a bit weird when there is only one major manufacturer not interested in adding their fresh trucks as user-available vehicle.
Just like Jacques Villeneuve who didn’t give a licence for his name to game manufacturer, so Microprose’s F1 games from late 90’s had John Newhouse instead ;D.
^ He had a very big ego, lol... I don't know.  But I remember in old racing games when certain drivers just didn't exist in games.  Thankfully that doesn't really happen anymore.  I know all the NASCAR games have all the drivers in all three top divisions.  The F1 games have everyone in the main and lower division, etc.

I don't know if North and South Dakota will be a bundle.  I mean.... they made Wyoming a separate state to buy.

I could see Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Kansas being bundled.  They are empty as can be.  But probably won't be. ;D

Well... it looks like no one has any faith in IVECO then.  Does anyone even have an IVECO truck they regularly drive?  I own one.... haven't driven it in awhile.
JV is Lewis Hamilton of late 90’s, no less (really, their achievements in two first years are similar, but Lewis had much better career after the first champion title).
BTW, I really miss the new Scania engines mentioned in these quotes ;D. It’s already two years after Scania topped Volvo with their 770 hp.

I also drive Ivecos from time to time, but not the old ones. Like old Renaults, Ivecos don’t have sideskirts for three axle chassis, which steals some attractiveness points ;D.

Lewis has many more years and started his success younger.  He's going to be a threat for years to come.

JV was a beast though in F1.  His later career began to slow though.  He went to the NASCAR Cup Series for a select few starts and finished mid-pack, then did a few races for Team Penske (the team with the Cascadia car from the previous page) in the early 2010s in NASCAR lower division called the Xfinity Series.  He has some real good runs and had a career high finish of 3rd.  I think he could have been successful if he stayed there longer.

He's now joined a Euro NASCAR team to make a few select starts for them in 2022 again in the NASCAR Cup Series in the new generation 7 cars.  He started the Daytona 500 and and among 43 some cars, finished an admirable 22nd.

He can race pretty much anything. Open wheels, stock car.  Just give him a little time to adapt.

Not really.... ETS2 you always had people making fun of the Renault (Early on when it was the oldest and least powerful) and now it seems to be the IVECO.  There seems to be more of a deep-seeded dislike of certain brands.

In ATS, people simple don't seem to notice as much.  At least that is my perception.  I can see some avoiding the oldest trucks in the game... but I mean... have you ever met someone who said they didn't like Kenworth or Peterbilt's?  The answer is no.

I don't think so for ATS.  There are people who either like Pete's or Kenworth's... but they don't hate the other.  They respect em'.

I do see people give flack to Freightliner sometimes simply because a lot of fleet companies buy them.

Other than that, not really for ATS.

I do not see the same brand pointing-and-laughing in ATS that I do in ATS.

But there is certainly strong brand loyalty among ATS and real truckers.  There are the Kenworth guys and the Peterbilt guys.... and then everyone else. ;D

Early on, I think more people didn't use the Peterbilt 579 and the 389.

I am willing to bet though the least used models today as the Volvo VNL and the International Lonestar.
