So I was on ETS2 yesterday driving a delivery 490 miles to it's destination in Vienna.  After that silly post above by Wolfwood, I thought I would share this.  With eleven miles to go, I took a right turn and apparently my trail clipped into the guardrail along side the road.  Then I was stuck, so I slowly tried to back up, but then my trailer and truck went made and glitched, flew into the air, and fell to the earth on it's side completely damaged out...

So yeah.  I didn't take any pictures, because I was very mad, but I just want to say that stupid stuff happens.

I bet you quit the game after that.

I see people here saying they want to go to the Arctic circle and far north in ETS2 with Norway, Finland, Sweden, etc.  But look at FUCKING this!  This is Russia's far north and look how hardcore this looks.  It would be a freaking treat to drive a truck into such an industrial, harsh, wasteland!  Hope and joy?  NO freaking way.  Just sadness, dirt, and pollution. These are in Murmansk.

Seriously, we need to some super gritty stuff like this with heavy industry.  ETS2 is too clean and pristine.

We can include that in my FAR NORTH DLC pack.  Sure, why not.   I like the babushka stereotypically walking with bags in the very last photo.

Edit: Looking at the same street view and satellite maps as the photos @Wolfwood posted above, I didn't realize this at first, but all the lack of trees and dead grounds is because of the pollution from these Soviet era factories.   They've killed all the vegetation and ground water and made it poison!  From the satellite maps, you can see anything down winds of the factories has literally died.  It's actually very depressing.  It's clearly bad for the nature there and you know it's very bad for the health of the people living there.  They must have very high rates of chronic diseases. if anyone wants to find it, it's here in the Murmansk Oblast.  Town of Nikel.
