According to their site, only one more blog post left before the release. So, this two weeks we should see more screenshots for other future states.
Also, I found a company for that Spanish locomotive in a quarry near Athens ;D.

Another good trucking sim Youtube creator.  Asalvatore has a pretty good take as to why SCS might be releasing so much right now.  I honestly think it's because they have streamlined their work and have enough people working on everything, but there might be a hint of them knowing there's only so much they can do with trucks.  Asalvatore also mentions "Truck World: Australia" as a possible reason and how the demo has been seen as very positive with reviewers and it is visually ages above what SCS's engine does.

Des Moines looks like a typical midwest city. A few skyscrapers but overall just a BIG TOWN with some skyscrapers so they can pretend they are a big city. :)

I am hearing good reviews so far on the visuals and how "Truck World: Australia" actually handles.  Some state it is the "next gen" of truck driving.  But I have never tried it despite them having a free demo.  Not knowing their team, which I assume is very small, it's unlikely they will make a realistic world like SCS has.

Woohoo! ;D The game is ready for a new map expansion, and my new yellow Kenworth is waiting for departure to Iowa.
As the last preparation before DLC, the northeast corner of Nebraska has a couple of new roads, which soon will be connected to the new state.

P.S. One of the loading screens shows some interesting name for one of locations — it looks like the developers took an inspiration from Trump ;D.

I need to visit the GREATEST SCS TRUCK STATION. ;D  Isn't that based off a real life truck stop there?  I think I've heard about that before, lol.

As an aside, what is everyone's least visited place in their travels of ATS and ETS2?

Can't wait to drive 1.55 this weekend. :) *Looks at work ahead of me* Just got to get though all this.

I'd say my least visited areas are central Europe (the oldest parts of the map), the UK, and Turkey.

For ATS my least visited area now would actually be the Missouri and Arkansas. I just have not driven there much as my deliveries take me out of the states really quickly.

For ATS — Los Angeles is far from my usual routes ;D. When the map had only three states, I did the deliveries into that city much more often than now.
For ETS — Corsica and Sardinia, mostly for the same reason. The scenery look great, but they are too remote from the mainland.

My least travelled through state is oddly Colorado.  I somehow always go north or south of it.

Turkey.  I have still only been to Instanbul once in the game when it first released.  Lol!
