Stylish or no, but... let these super low back seats with two-point seatbelts exist only in the video games and old movies .

Oh my gosh that car is beautiful.

I still don't know how Road Trip will add to this game. It just seems like they are investing so much into this, but I can't imagine there will be much return unless they truly EXPAND the maps with far more drivable roads. It seems pointless to be driving cars on the map unless you implement it with the trucks. Give us a house, a car, and our trucking company.

More talking about console release:

P.S. Just noticed that new Coastline Mining base in the reworked part of Arizona (between Phoenix and Kingman) has a left-hand road between the gate and the quarry.

I know this state doesn’t follow the daylight saving time rule and has a highway with metric speed signs, but this road is even more original :-0.

Wow, that is weird.  I wonder if this is for a reason or based on a real place that does this?

Since there are some engine improvements (like new traffic sounds), I will rather wait for the full release ;D. Not so much new content for the basic game, but Illinois is already highlighted on the game map, also, some new rumors about the new Volvo VNL — let’s see if it’s going to be confirmed next couple of weeks.

These new couple of info boxes for the Route Advisor seem to be a result of a feedback after 1.58 release, and it may be not the final addition, also, as I have already heard in the fresh reviews, Tow to Road doesn’t work well with the stuff from WoT (in-game cargoes are not cancelled, but WoT ones are taken away from you), and it’s unclear if will it be changed.

It has been awhile since we've had new trucks to the game.  Refreshes of old trucks don't count nor do the electrics I still have never driven.

Awwww. I only do WoT deliveries. :(

Same. I wonder why it's so difficult for them to have the same mixture of deliveries the base game has? Like why is it so limited on WOT deliveries? I want to track my stats and deliveries and WOT is currently the only way to do that.

Since we have two DLCs already planned (plus the British map rework), I don’t expect to see it in 2027. Of course, if two upcoming map expansions are going to be released once a year. So, my guess is November (not 23th, I hope ;D) of 2028.
Also, they say the easternmost point of the map will be Aksaray, which mean we will get only a half of Turkey — so, Kars and Batman are not going into ETS world yet.

Turkey really just doesn't interest me much, but maybe with time I will get more excited.

I am pumped about Iceland, the UK, and Ireland.

By the SCS tradition, the open beta for other game comes two days later. By my own tradition, I make a side-by-side comparison screenshot of the reworked map.
Unlike the Scandinavian half-rework before the latest map DLC (and just like Austrian and Swiss reworks ;D), here we have just a full replacement. So, no more old areas in the western continental Europe! The narrow road between Calais and Duisburg, which was made famous (due to extremely dense traffic) by the unofficial multiplayer in 2015, now has more lanes and two new cities! Also, as you can see, now the reworked roads resemble the layout from the nearby part of Germany.
As for other update different from ATS, now there is no more unlicensed cooling units. Instead of three bland-name options in earlier versions, now standard trailers and most of licensed trailer DLCs have five units from Thermo King, and more for Krone and Schmitz, which have additional options with their own units (which existed since these DLCs were presented).

Anyway, it’s not my type of trailer, but I think there are a lot of reefer users in the *TS community. At least, their cargo is not as cheap as sand, empty pallettes or wooden chips, which require a lot of driving to earn the same amount of money you get after one short delivery of propane or yacht ;D.

Wow, these are both going to release right around the same time.  Illinois and Benelux are right around the corner.

Instead of three bland-name options in earlier versions,

Not sure if that was meant to be a typo or not, but yes, the brand name update is a bland update. ;D
