I did watch a few second of that video. It looks great but I don't want to be spoiled. For some reason SD doesn't seem like it has been talked about much in the blog, but I guess it sort of gets buried with all the other things competing for attention.

I just did the same thing. It looks real nice. But not going to spoil myself further. Just building hype!

I don't think BC will come out this year. I think early 2027.  But they did drop the new BC microsite.

All the big cities in BC are smashed onto the Washington border. So it will be interesting how they combine the entire Vancouver Metro. Most of it is just suburban hell with random high rises.

As I remember, you can easily replace «BC» with «Canada» and «Washington» with «USA».
That DLC should be the American counterpart of Nordic Horizons and Iceland in one package ;D.

AMERICAN Truck Driving Simulator.  Hence, North America or even Central and South America. It is American!! Even if people from the United States have been most associated with "American" in modern day.

I DO NOT know who is voicing this.

Okay, that is cool! It's almost a bit like Ubisoft. Find the high point, unlock a bunch of interesting locations.

So here we go to the tourist board, and it unlocks lots of new locations to explore!! Very cool. It's nice to know we can also explore it with our semi trucks. I am more excited about Road Trip now. It's just a leisure thing.

That gave me more confidence on what they are planning to do with Road Trip. I mean I GOT it, but I still never GOT it. It seems like something most people won't spend much time on, which Coaches will give players legitimately hours and hours of new content. It will create a whole sub-fandom of bus drivers in ETS2.  ATS could use Greyhound buses.

It makes more sense now. I like the idea. I am just not sure how much time I will spend with it if it doesn't progress my game's trucking career. But I do like the idea.
Who knows? Maybe I will fall in love with just exploring without having to rush from location to location? I would love some sort of progress thing to increase a skill or something though.
