I was looking, and we could get a Deviant Art to safely re-upload the pics, but keep it private unless you have the link.
I was also thinking Flickr. They are fast loading and reliable (I know Flickr is for photography) but they seem to have an amazing tagging and editing system for organizing work into folders and categories. I too could keep this account locked from outside viewers unless we have the link to the photos.
Flickr isn't known for their "drawing" type artists. Plenty of photographer artists. Seems like an odd idea, but they are established and have free storage up to 1 terrabyte. that would be like...forever. Plus you can share the photo in various sizes with just a click. I'd be for that.
Photobucket is clunky and slow. Deviant Art is good too, but if you post on DA, it is kind of saying YOU made that piece when that wouldn't be the case. We are using it to host work.
