If I am understanding this right, their next animated film as a studio is called, "Spellbound."

Set to release in 2023 and written by Linda Woolverton who wrote the 1991 Beauty and the Beast, and to be directed by Vicky Jenson, who directed the first Shrek.  Seems like a promising duo.

It would seem like you are right.  For some reason they include films they also make special effects for.

Still no info on this film.  I wonder if it's been delayed?

I still think they're somewhat generic character designs for 'Luck' is adorable.  If the character's are as good in 'Spellbound,' I think we'll see success.

Looks like Skydance's latest film has come out on Netflix.  SPELLBOUND.

Another female lead. This one isn't as curvy.

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 45% of 40 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5.4/10. The website's consensus reads: "Spellbound makes for harmless viewing thanks to its colorful animation and clever moral, but this fairy tale can't quite summon any real charm." Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 54 out of 100, based on 12 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.

During the November 18–24 viewing window, Spellbound secured its #3 position in Netflix's top series, accumulating 8.5 million views within its first three days. It went up to the #2 position, garnering 15.3 million views the following week (November 25–December 1).

According to Luminate Film & TV Streaming Viewership, the film ranked as the #2 and #3 most-watched streaming original film in the U.S. for the weeks of November 22–28 and November 29–December 5, respectively.

The next film they are working on is called Pookoo by Nathan Greno, American film director, story artist, and writer best known as the co-director of Walt Disney Animation Studios' film, Tangled (2010).  He joined Skydance in 2018.

New film announced to be made by Skydance Animation called, "Ray Gunn."  At this point no other info has been released. It is an original story and idea by Brad Bird.

He is the man behind cult classics like The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille.

He has good ideas.  I hope it's good. Three of my most favorite movie's happen to all be written by him.
