30 Minute Art Challenge

So I don't know how many of you are on tumblr. I know a few of you here are but as for the rest, I don't know. Anyway..

There's a blog on tumblr that I have been following for almost as long as I have been a brony. The 30 Minute Art Challenge blog. It's pretty straight forward in what it is. The moderators think of a topic, and artists who follow the blog are given a 30 minute limit to draw something related to that topic, and then another 15 minutes to submit their work. There isn't any prize or anything. It's just something to do for fun and and to see how much you can accomplish in a short period of time.

Lately though the blog hasn't been getting a lot of submissions. Saddens me to see one of the coolest art challenges on tumblr start to die off. So I'm making this blog to let all of the artists here know that it exists if you already didn't. It's a great way to hone your skills.

OR....and its just a thought. Maybe we could do something like that here. This site has been pretty dead as of late. Maybe this could be a new spark.

I mean, it might make sense it's dying off. If it's been around as long as it has, people lose interest.
Could just be that.

And I think the forum is pretty active. I mean, we recently had a huge surge in art and stories, and you're saying it's dead? Kinda craz3 bruh :p

Well I know the site itself isn't dead I'm just saying maybe doing something like this every once in a while could put some spice in the coffee

And I don't know, I like the spontaneity the forum has. It seems like we're just getting spoiled and want more.

We could try and plan something like this.

I mean it could be cool. But we couldn't do it every day.  Plus it would involve all the artists to be on when the challenge is posted. Personally, I think we should see what our artists think. If it were me, I feel it would be stifling, but that's me. And there's also the issue of whatever making the promts making them to much like hidden requests.

It could be more organized, like have a group of people decide a prompt. And maybe it wouldn't be as often. I don't know,  just my thoughts.

I know we couldn't do it every day. Maybe like make it a once a week thing.

I already have a few prompts in mind but it would be easier to have a group to think up more.
