Whaaaat? Even the one I was invited to, when I was like 15, I got there after the egg hunt happened and all the eggs were found. Only found one hidden in a tree with a silly band.

I can't remember what she said. I think she just said it was just a thing she never learned.

But yea, all my cousins had Easter egg hunts. I remember once at a diner they gave us a painted egg. It was red and I didn't know what to do with it so I peeled the shell off.

My sister got one too and did the same thing XD

But yeah. I think at that one party I scammed a kid out of 5 dollars for the silly band Easter egg I found. But hey, it was a lot of silly bands.

We went to church. "Easter is about Jesus" and all that.

To be honest, I guess I see her point. Eggs and rabbits have nothing to do with Easter, so it's all just a frivolous thing. Which I suppose as a kid I would have enjoyed but *shrug* I missed out on it. Not much to do now.
