Actually..... Colorado would be a "west state."  So the line from north to south.  "WEST" are Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico.  Everything east of those is central and east.

I would think Colorado, for the sake of our system, is west.  But yes, right where the mountains drop, it becomes plains and seems very much central in nature, with all the farming.  But it is a western state.

East starts at Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, N. Caro, S. Caro, George, Florida.

So we aren't breaking this particular map into south either... just west, central, east.

For our purposes, yes.  Just west, central, and east.

So with our new boundaries, the best central states are Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and everything else sucks.
