No. The way I see it is, a waifu is someone you inherently can't have. People call cartoon characters their waifu, because they're their favorite usually. And yeah, I do that too, but in my head it's also someone you just can't have. Like, you can't ever have that cartoon character. Boys on the internet won't ever be able to have ShoeOnHead. Hence why she's a waifu.

That's just me though.

Okay, I admit, I had to look that term up...  so it's a fictional character one likes, though not necessarily in a romatic way (hence a girl using the term for a female character without being gay). Though, this girl who puts a shoe on her head is real, and somewhere she may have a significant other, or can easily get one (because she is a cutie).  So would some girl 2000 miles away that I've been whipping the weasel on the phone (or, these days, I guess it'd be Skype, huh?) with be my waifu?

No. That doesn't count. Usually you can't call someone you have interaction with your waifu. It just doesn't work that way.

But i have a question, can you have a waifu but still love another character?  So like LP, you like Officer Cuffs, what would he be to you and could you have him and your waifu?

You can have multiple waifu's apparently. But guys are called "husbando's".
I don't like that term, it's not as cute as waifu. But *shrug* it's a term.

And yeah, you can have a waifu and still love another character. Like, I love Fluttershy as a character, I love Momo, they're all cute and awesome. But Autumn Summer is waifu. She dah best.


So in other news, apparently after bitching at me, then a night of drinking, and today, my roommates still think I'm the hostile one. When for me, it's gotten to the point I don't want to be in the room. If they're here I grab my stuff and go somewhere else. But I'm the hostile one who's trying to start shit? I didn't know having differing opinions meant "trying to start shit". Or, comparing how you've been treating me to how I treat them is starting shit. Or how you embarrassing yourself in front of the guy you want to bang while I get along with him is "starting shit". Honestly getting tired of their bullshit.

The Japanese word for husband is "fu" or "otto".   Although some kanji has insulting or downright dirty translations, like "freeloader" or "bloodsucker".   More here.
