I like this place a bit too much. ;D

You said it yourself: my being a high school student is why I spend so much time on the Internet.

You're right about the star thing. That's how it is: I like this place too much, and you two are really talkative. XD

Mm, I see. You should be studying. Not frolicking around. College approaches and you gotta look good. Do community service. It gets you wicked good scholarships.

College won't approach until a few years for me.

Maybe so, but when you're sick in bed and feel like you're slowly dying half the time, you're not really in the mood. :-\

Ah, so are you a frosh?

Oh of course not now. Get better and stuff.  But remember, start building up for college from the beginning. They really like that stuff.

No. But I'm still a few years from college.

All right. Good advice. ;)

Nah, I just thought you were older. Though you say college is a long way off for you, yet you're in highschool and are not a freshman. Which means you're a sophomore or a junior. College isn't far off for you. It's looming pretty close. And you shouldn't be caught off guard. You should be preparing for it.

It's never too early, but there most certainly is too late! And that's in Junior year, so start moving!

What's there to prepare for?  Tertiary education seems considerably similar to secondary education, at least in my experience.  You go to classes, you do homework.  All said, you cough up a fair few shekels for a piece of paper that will probably return a net shekel profit (ceteris paribus).  Then it's over, and you emerge into the real world (or, perhaps, pursue a career in academia).

I'm going to have to agree

College just opens your world to more freedoms, but it is still within the shell of academia.  Like-minded people thrive in college.
