In that time waiting, I read the comic.  it was good, and a great backstory to Sunset Shimmer.  I stopped right when she went into the human world.  I liked it a lot actually.

Celestia isn't interesting in the show, but the fandom has made her more interesting.  She has so much potential, but it is never shown.  We actually know more of Luna, so Luna for now.
