Up in the mountains... kinda.  The foothills, so lots of hills leading up to the mountains.  They got a small creek running through their property and lots of forest.  I used to make trails in the woods and ride my uncles tractor, go chop wood, etc.  Loved it out there.  They still like me visiting and tell me to come anytime.  I would love to live there... but that would certainly overstay my welcome. ;)

I am picturing the nights we would start a bonfire out in their backyard.  All the scrap branches and we'd pile it real high and just make a massive fire.  Watch the smoke simmer away into the night sky above, painted in stars.  Crisp cool nights with a warm fire.  I love that.  Then you go inside and you smell like a campfire and pine. :D

Beautiful imagery. :)  That would be very fun.  We sometimes make fires here.  My Dad made a fire pit with seating too.  It's very nice.

Yes they are. :)  But my Dad does "fun" things on the side for spending money or fun money.  "Fun" things for him are building things or doing yard work and chores for neighbors and people.  He also sells stuff online.
