Department stores will keep declining if they are not careful.  Target better watch out and keep modernizing.

There are Also Fred Meyer's and Kroger, though they focus on a lot of food too to help them.

Walmart still seems unstoppable but they are making sure to focus really heavily on online sales, which is smart for them now.

Does Target have a robust online sales program going?

They do, but not competing with Walmart or Amazon.  So I am not sure how long Target will remain positive.

Target modernized pretty good in their last update... but it's still interesting.  I think they would be the next to be cut down.

They haven't seen losses yet, so yeah, they are fine for now.

Thats good.  I still shop at Target for clothes and stuff.

Really, shopping malls are a dying breed.

Yes, totally.  Many shopping malls, especially indoor shopping malls are closing down at quick rates.

Big malls are still good, but online shopping is killing the classic suburban shopping mall.

Yep, exactly.  Malls will keep closing down, and grocery stores are going into many of them.

I've seen movie theaters go into many shopping malls to fill up space too, and some give up and allow things like Best Buy in them, as the small shops inside keep closing.
