Once one store starts closing, more start to close.  It is like a domino effect.

That is really too bad.

I'd been in a mall once that had room for about 40 shops, and only two remained.  It was really sad.  It was just an empty building.... with a thirst shop and DMV spot.  It was weird.

That is so weird.  Too bad.

And of course you got your mall walkers still.  Once they disappear, mall walkers will need a new place to go.

Discussing the fall of shopping malls and department stores has brought me down memory lane.  It's sad how we grew up, that way of life is ending.

The grandeur of a mall, especially those with elevators in the central court.  The food courts... how friends would hang out at them?  All that is ending and going away.

It is certainly fading away.  It's sad.

They could turn old malls into open living apartments with walkways and some shops inside maybe?

Interesting idea.  But it probably would be way too expensive to upkeep.

Malls are a relic of the 80s and 90s I guess.  I didn't think much of it till today.

Yeah dude.  There a shift in the world right now.  The 80s/90s way of life is quickly is fading.  But think of all the nostalgia people have for their music.
