Too big to fail.  Relics.  Malls are like the Titanic.... ya know?  Walmart will someday probably go down too.  You just never know.

Well, I know my favorite mall went tits-up about ten or 12 years ago.  A lot of dead malls are now being razed for green space, industrial parks, and  outreach centers for victims of disasters and terrorist attacks.

Actually, a lot of local Wal-Marts are shutting down in these tough times.  Here's a list.  I heard tell the one where my family spends Black Friday each November may be one of the ones getting the ax.    :(

Most mall closings are currently happening in the East Coast and the midwest and south.  The west, like usual, is unaffected by this for the most part.
