Wow, it's funny to see that there are people here with a positive opinion of Trump.  XD  I'm always careful about where I say anything vaguely complimentary about the guy these days.  He does deserve credit for some good things that are happening and it's really frustrating to see all the people who won't admit the positives. 

For the record, I think he's pretty good, and my opinion of him has been on a slow but steady uptick since he won (it was "Meh" then).  I trust that that is an acceptable opinion here?

He's doing much better then anyone gives him credit for, especially the media.  I felt he was the best choice between the two left, but he was not my original choice.  I am thrilled he is succeeding because that means we as citizens are succeeding.  Seeing a record low unemployment, almost 4% economy growth, and success abroad has me very happy.  What I am not happy about is how the other side of the political spectrum simply wants to him to fail, whether that destroys the country or not.  It is upsetting they are so focused on just that and nothing else... So overall, yes, I am very happy about our country and President right now.  I feel safer.

The people who post the news media articles here do a very good job to report both sides, but avoiding the spin.

Yeah, that narrow-mindedness is shortsighted and stupid.  And it is tangibly worse than under previous administrations. 

I admit that my opinion may be colored somewhat, because I've noticed that I tend to be sympathetic to the current president, regardless of who it is. 

Glad to hear it.  Centrist news is a dead art, and we need to bring it back for the good of everyone.

Well we certainly try.  Good luck finding non-bias news.  Nearly impossible.  But if you can at least present both sides and let the people choose, that is better then nothing and a noble goal.

Previous President was treated like a king no matter what he did.  But now this man is treated horribly by the media and people who just want to shut off and not hear anything good about what's being done.  It's dangerous to over-praise and dangerous to only hear what you want to hear.

I'd say things are going really good so far under this Presidency.  Everything is looking up and he does keep winning and proving these pundits and others wrong all the time.  His was of going against the grain is really shaking things up and so far it has been for the better. Lets hope it stays that way.
