Keep in mind, these are the children in my own Gen X... where entitlement first began to become entrenched in our minds. I blame us. Well, actually, I blame the schools we were sent to,; that's where the indoctrination began, in the mid-'90s. It's very telling that the latest episode of
The Simpsons was far more respectful to Cuba than it has been to most other nations the cast has visited. They seem to yearn for that simpler ideal, since many of the writers and actors on staff come from a generation born about ten years too late for Woodstock and have always resented the fact.
