As I think I've noted before, they tried that....

Reviews are decidedly mixed. I have this show marked in my streaming queue; I think I'll crack it open tonight and see just how much, or if at all, this revival/reboot pooped the ol' straw bed.  From what I've seen in in this vid, it may not have exactly been a Franchise Killer, but if it were a real horse, they'd have taken it out behind the barn and shot it.

That show was not an attempt. It was just not good. It was a stop gap.  Pony Life was a franchise killer.
