California sunshine!  Beaches!  Babes!  And bankrupt cities!

All the great things about California summed up in four little bits.

I love beaches too. Strip down, grease up in sunscreen, and jump around flailing your arms like a nut.  The water is the best part!  Boogie boarding, surfing, swimming, lots of falling.  Salt water in your mouth!

Hot sand, palm trees, seagulls, seals, SHARKS, creepy guys trying to sell you stuff on the board walk!

Also got to love those non commercialized beaches that haven't been raped by people.  The serene, secret beaches.

The serene, secret beaches.

That become nude beaches during random weekdays when no one is there. ;)

Northern California, Oregon, and Washington are home to the secret beaches.  Southern Cali is the commercial stuff.

Yeah, for the most part, you are right.  Northern Cali has me wonderful quit beaches, lots of good waves.  I know the same can be said for Oregon and Washington too.  The further north you go though, the cooler it gets and the tropical trees become pine and evergreens.

It is because of the cooler climes that surfers prefer the bigger waves up north.  Less people to fight with.

What about climbing a 300 foot rock face on the side of a mountain? :)

I mean, I would give it a go... probably.  I would have to see how freaky it looks.
