Gem OCs! (F, Steven Universe fan characters)

Hi, guys! It's been so long! I'm sorry I haven't been active lately. I kept wanting to come back to this site and comment and post but it just... it didn't happen... idk guys, I've been busy. xD But I'm here now! And I have stuff to share!

I have a sneeze RP partner on tumblr. We started out RPing because we both love Steven Universe and the character Peridot. But I'm not even really that into the show anymore, because we've developed so many of our own gem characters that we hardly even use actual canon characters in our stories anymore! The things I'm going to share with you were all commissioned by my RP partner.

1) Citrine's Cold

Citrine catches a cold, and Chalcedony forces her to get a checkup with Dr. Apatite. Citrine isn't very happy about having to see her doctor, but then Apatite pulls out a get-well card from their mutual friend (and Citrine's crush), Turquoise! :'D

2) Melaphyre's Revenge

Basically we started out our RPs with the story of Peridot working at a technician complex with lots of other Peridots, and they were all badly mistreated by their horrible manager Sunstone. Eventually Sunstone got fired and punished and replaced with Moonstone, who is an awesome manager and takes care of all of them. But then we had Sunstone go through a redemption arc, and now she’s Moonstone’s assistant. But Melaphyre, their housecleaner, is still bitter about what Sunstone did to all the Peridots (including her friend, who goes by the nickname Pumpkin). So in this comic, she uses some strong-smelling air freshener in Sunny’s room to get revenge…

3) Sunstone Gets a Blanket

This one is pretty straightforward. Moonstone takes care of Sunstone while she has a cold! Although Sunstone has fire powers, when she’s sick she can’t use her powers and gets chilly.

4) A Gift from Lemon

No sneezing in this one. We had a story where Sunstone got really sick and started to lose a lot of confidence in herself. Dr. Apatite helped her feel better! "Lemon" is one of the other Peridot characters we made up. They all have nicknames. XD Lemon is one of Sunny's best friends

I haven't seen Steven Universe, but I heard good things about it. :3 These OC's are pretty cool, and their sneezy situations suit them well! I like it! :3

Sometimes fanart of a show or movie can only be enjoyed for so long because of overuse of characters over and over. I enjoy the fact you are using your OCs and exploring different options

The first one has nice use of that blanket. I think it was sweet such a big character literally uses her large blanket to warm herself but also uses it to hide XD I like the little detail you did with the get well card and the o's eyes in it.

The second one has one of the best face expressions out of all of these comics you showed with that final, confident smile expression. That girl knows exactly what is going on behind that door I like how the sneezes were not immediately happening. It took a few moments for the nose to realize something wasn't right XD However, when her nose acted up it really acted up!

The third one makes sense. Colds mess with a lot more than just noses. The entire body gets effected. For a gem I could easily see their powers not working or having odd side effects. In a comic Pearl had a bad cold and it really messed with her powers XD

The last comic here made me smile a lot. Sometimes we all need some comforting. Great job with both characters here

These turned out very cute.  I like the third one a lot.  Colds and messy and it is neat seeing the side effects.  Ha ha!  Would stink if you needed to use your powers though.  Nice OC's.

I love these characters more then the actual show!   I loved every single one of these comics and how you drew them.   Terrific job, Erudi!

I really like them.  I know someone above said they were better then the show itself... I think I agree.  I love their designs.
