Sooo... there's a bit of a problem.

I felt a bit guilty about doing this behind the original artist's back, so I messaged them. I told them everything I told you guys (no reposting, commenting about the original, etc.) I told them what I'd changed (without getting too much into detail ^^'), and I also asked them if there was a problem with me sharing my revision with you guys.

Their reply:
[spoiler]Usually I don't mind if people add color to a sketch, but if you made some crass additions then I'd rather have it not be shared. More for the fact that I do not own the OC and it's a property of someone else.[/spoiler]
