Just wanted to say I've officially gone over a month without so much as a drop of alcohol.

That is awesome, mate!

So you were drinking out of sadness? Is that why you stopped?
I'm glad you did though, it's not good to get into nasty habits.

Great how you don't even miss not drinking, right?  Saves you a bunch of money too.

Never thought I'd be hitting Jim Bean special reserve or whatever but it was a gift so free booze.

It not to taste as decent as it did.  Wasn't bad.

I noticed we don't have a relationship topic anymore. Hmm.

You either die alone, or deal with someone's BS just for their companionship. Either way you'll find something to complain about.  That is my wisdom for the day.

Oh my. Are you feeling alright APD? That seemed awfully cynical, coming from you.
Also... Have you been drinking?

So it comes down to this.  When you are unemployed, you can do anything you want pretty much... but you start to miss companionship of co-workers, ever if you don't like them.  You long for being a part of them or being a part of a group in away... even if you are a loner.  Because you wake up... and it's just you.  Alone, in your house or place of residence.  You can go a whole day without talking or saying a word.  It's weird. Yes you can do what you want... but people put up with other people for companionship.  To bed with someone, feel useful, feel loved, feel liked.  Unemployed or single... and you miss a large piece of yourself.  Whether you think so or not, at least being around other people and making aquaintances is a good thing.

And yes, I promise I am 110% ok.  I'm working again.  I'm just sharing my thoughts of when I was working.
