I will have to disagree. I think you can't throw away those two things. Losing stuff, being negligent with them, and of course the kind of surprising phone comment with him. I think they are underlying flaws or mannerisms. He might not be the best with having important documents or personal things, especially if he takes them to work. Not the best choice.
Not the best choice saying what he said to Twilight, even if it was for comedic purposes. Might not always say the right thing.

His smile makes him see more perfect then he is, but he isn't perfect. No one is perfect. He has more depth in one hoof, then most OC's characters have through an entire series.

Greg is pretty awkward too. He didn't know how to react the first date with Twi at the end. But he does seem genuinely kind in how he treats her. He treats a woman like a lady. Sort of like the traditional way a guy should. And Twi is starting to kind of melt into his hooves at times. I worry that can be her undoing
if
he manipulates her.

I really don't think so. He forgot his whole bag, which I attribute to him talking the whole time and then his ride showing up. The phone call, he was being cheesy, he didn't linger too long and clarified quickly, so I feel like that's just how he does things like that. Is cheesy. I don't feel that's a flaw though. Flaws also aren't just arbitrary things like "forgetful" either. Negative traits don't always necessarily mean flaw or make a character more rounded. Like say Fluttershy. Her greatest flaw is her greatest strength, her kindness.
I feel no matter what way you slice it, Greg is a flat character with no volume or roundedness to him. Hence why comics involving him don't exactly entirely focus on him. There's him and Autumn Summer, with that comic just giving us some suspense. Then his call with Spike, where the comedy came mostly from Spike. And then when it was returned. Not much there either.
I'm not saying it's exactly bad. But I can't deny he is flat, and he is "too perfect". Twilight also just kind of likes him. For why? He was nice to her and he has cute ears. Her interactions with him are cute though.

Made me think of something. Does Twilight actually love him? Do they love each other? Does Twilight think she loves him, or does she just like him because he was the first person who we saw was genuinely nice to her? Hmmm.

I don't think they love each others. Just really good friends, but they are testing the waters. It is kind of an awkward feeling out point right now.
I really like you response, LP. Thank you for explaining yourself.

I think Twilight thinks she loves him. As it is a believable step from where she was at. She does like him, from what we've seen of how she acts with him. How she acts hurt that he was going with another mare. She wants him to like her. And I think she is a bit smitten with him. Which stems from him being the first guy who was genuinely nice and compassionate to her.
Heh, sorry I give wall of texts.

I like your text walls.
That is my concern though. Does she REALLY love him? I think she is still confused and lost. In the long run, I think she will see she just likes him, because her judgement is still clouded, and she thinks she loves him, but it all stems with him simply being nice to her only.
If my theory is true, I hope she figures that out before he loves her, and feelings and hearts get broken.

A rather simple comic with not much meaning today... unless it shows SPike's soft side again... and waste of a perfectly good hat and scarf!

The comment by one person on Derpibooru makes me laugh. Do they not pay attention as to where his footprints went? Lol

It reminded me of Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes for some reason.

I like it when comics do silent comics with no words, just art.

Yesterday had some Roseluck and Sunburst. Appears Sun is still looking for advice on how to impress some "mare" we don't know.
