Rarity is an absolute nutcase!  Oh my wordness!  LOL! 

Theory?  Multiple artists?  While I doubt there are, you do have evidence to back it up.  Some days the art just seems like it drawn by a totally different person.  "One artist" more closely resembles the show's style, with smaller snouts too.  The "other artist" goes more outlandish and crazy, and has bigger snouts, eyes, etc.  Interesting theory, APD.  Good theory too. 

I think it is brilliantly written on a grand scale.  It tells a story without just TELLING you the story.  A lot of reading between the words that are said.  Even the scenery, events, and how characters act.

Twilight is a miserable sack of life, with moments of happy in this comic.  I guess that makes it appealing, the story being told about her and her truly messed up friends.  It is a bunch of "slice of life" told in a way that people can relate too.  It's real.  It's unhinged.  It's . . . life.

I guess that could give it the "brilliant writing" schtick.

Today's episode provides good evidence for two separate artists.  Totally different style today.

I remember her saying she never got down a consistent style when I talked to her. Maybe the more goofy style is for when it's more cartoony and gag-y?
