So wait... last panel Vinyl says something that could be taken as her being in a relationship with Ooctavia...  As in more than friends and roommates.  But I am sure they are good friends only.  But it was still an interesting thing she said.

All were good.  I can't believe they can do three comics a week and not burn out or miss days.  It is quite astounding this four/five year streak they have going.  How can people always have ideas let alone find the time or the will to want to draw it all??

"These peppers aren't hot."  Meh, bit of a stretch, bub. Sometimes a pepper is just a pepper.  The way Octavia dismisses Vinyl and Spike as "juvenile" suggests that she acts more like the girl's caretaker half the time...  not really what one would want in a more-than-friend.

The end of this little tune came to mind, actually....the nurse tasting the chili that does Ray in has about the the same smug look as 'Tavi.

I have often wondered that too.  Maybe another artist can chime in.

Yeah, I think like you are saying, they are just friends.  Nothing more.  Just like how Moondancer often makes weird "relationship/sexual" comments at other mares so that it can be ambiguous to the reader who doesn't know her character more.

Since we are talking about "underlying motives," I can't believe I found this.  In the comments people are thinking that a nose pinch is some sort of kink for Lily because she is blushing.  Is that even possible?  Lol!  She's so cute.
