Spike is a very fleshed out and interesting character.  He has many layers to him.  He does have a soft side, and a confident side to him.  When he wants to pursue something, he does, and continues to until he accomplishes it.

Twilight has a soft side, like... really soft, her butt, HAAA!  Haaaaa!  I'm so funny.

I wanted Twi to sneeze, personally.  A sneeze with her nose that plugged up with nasties would have been an explosive disaster!

I didn't say it, but I wanted her to sneeze again too.  She's sneezed in this comic and so has Vinyl.  We need more sneezers.
