So what I love about this series, is they aren't afraid to take a character, and completely turn them on their head!  Scootaloo is completely her own character in this, and so is Sweetie Belle and many others.  I love that!

Think he is saying that Applejack just became a "character" and the writers feel they have to follow this "apple" thing of hers to make her be on character, and that is the problem.  By staying in trope mode of a character, they think they are writing a character in character, but in actuality, just turning her character into a character.  She lost her real-ness.

Eh? Applejack was always the most bland of them. There isn't much they can expand past her character because when they do its out of character. Like when they tried adding in that's she's ridiculously protective of AB, it was stupid and didn't seem in character for her to be that retarded. Then when the whole doing things to complicated, while I guess made sense to me, was also stupid and people disliked it. Every time they've stepped out of the archetype people got mad and said it was OOC and unbelievable. Which it was. So for them, better play it safe or don't write episodes that focus on her.

She's not really. We haven't seen her do much. You know? Besides give Twi some tough love, which I can believe she'd do in the show.

I think it is entertaining, but it bugs me when the voters choose truly dumb choices!  Wish I could control it like single player game and see what happens.

Yeah it is fun, and I know it is much easier to make then a comic.

My biggest concern is that those "choose your own adventure comics" seem to be giving AT&F more of a following then the comic now... and I am worried that people will just want that instead of the wonderful comic.
