I do hope we see more character development with Pinkie.  I know earlier they did Dash.  So it would be cool if this is starting something for Pinkie instead of being a one-off.

Pinkie is still my least fave Mane 6, but they touched on such a compelling story with her a long time ago.  Years ago.  When she felt she had to act a certain way to be liked.  I wish we would have got more of that.

I loved that.  I wanted to go deeper into that too.  I felt for her. And seeing her give in to her tendencies while knowing Spike knows her secret was crushing.

Moondancer and Starlight each pay rent! lol.  That is a misconception. :D

So it seems this did become a story arc.  I never thought we'd see Pinkie Pie be relatable. ;D

Who does Twilight pay rent to, exactly?  The Sisters?  Someone much further down the royal totem pole, like a minor noble?  Or just an ordinary citizen?

Twilight doesn't pay rent.  Her roommates (Starlight and Moondancer) pay rent to Twilight.  I'm pretty sure she owns her house.

The rent is too dang high!

Super high home and rent costs is the name of the game.  It's horrible how expensive buying a house or trying to rent is anywhere in the Bay Area. Million dollars for under 800sq ft.

I would think she'd become a party planner... or at least a kiddie party performer.  Or is there, like, a local birthday clown union, run by some grizzled old cigar-chomping mule shop steward? "And in my day, they didn't have paper Pin The-Tail-On-The-Donkey targets. They stuck the tails directly on my butt. With big rusty tacks!"
