On the bright side, those seeds are viable and can still grow after they've been... er, you know... so, hey, there'll be plenty of "pungkins" in time for next October's round of smoothies, lattes, and various baked goods.

Can confirm, Spike does not eat gems in AT&F.  He eats 'normal' food like everyone else.   (__)

Ideally, you should have a special knife like this to carve jack-o-lanterns, so as not to dull or break your kitchenware.  Something I learned from my days working in a shop.
