Also, reading stories to deaf folks reminds me of Daria.

Lol!  I thought of Daria when seeing this too.  I love how they use Musty Pines as the name for the facility! ;D

It has been three years since Musty Pines first appeared in this series.  Wow

I always get Musty Pines and Shady Acres mixed up. ;D  I must say Shady Acres has the better musical jingle.

Vice City also had another retirement facility.  Remember Farewell Ranch?  They even had a second commercial which isn't heard as much.


I am not sure which facility I would take my elderly too.  They both sound awful.  Musty Pines though says they will have your old ones gone in three months... sooo... that's probably not good.

The Shady Acres commercial is incomplete without a song coming right after it.  ;D
Also, that taxidermy commercial hints that they will work with grandparents too.

I was surprised when I was told that The Who have did one of their albums like a parody radio with commercials 35 years before Vice City release, but of course, there were not so much dark themes.

That The Who album was pretty good.  I remember listening to it.  I thought it was cool they did what they did. Here it is.  They were ahead of their time before mass commercialization took hold.

I did a search and I think it is.  We've never seen staff from the facility before and none of the nurses shown in the series have been Sweetheart. :)
