The strip could have ended after panel four and still been funny. Should have saved the aftermath of Twi's gluttony for the next strip.

I remember seeing a similar punchline in the comic Nancy years ago-- and here, I date myself.    Neither of these is
it, but they do show a good example of the strip's humor..

I have to admit, Nancy comics always turned me off by the design alone, so I never really gave them a chance.  But the two you posted here were funny, I clicked the link, and laughed at several more.

Strange you brought up how the AT&F one could have ended at panel four.  I never thought of that before.  I wonder how common a comic could end earlier and still be funny?  You're right.  It could have ended at panel four and still been funny!

Wait, Patricia's last name is Pearl?  I wonder if people will catch on the Amethsyt and Pearl thing.  I never watched SU much, but that is funny how it related.

Maybe, the creators of this series have tried Hasbro’s habit of sudden adding the last names, like Lulamoon or Heartstrings.

She would also have the unfortunate shortening of her name to PP.
