Cat Humor: Meowr!
Can it lead to forum-related situation? ;D
Somewhere out on cyberspace there's a thread connecting this strip and "humor, autism".  Moondancer's been a poster child for those on the spectrum since her inception in the parent show, and we see a glimmer--no pun intended--of it here. (I'm looking at you, FOXTROT.)

...That said, in the hands of another comic strip team, the joke would have probably ended with the person in the sweater getting a face full of claw-marks from the cat.    >:(  :'(

Maybe Twi doesn't appreciate her delightfully puckish effort, but I'd bet Pinkie would.

For the first time ever I am reading you saying Moondancer might be austistic and also for the first time ever, I read a comment saying AT&F Twilight might be too.

I don't see the case, but then again, I don't know the symptoms... (is that the right word to use for this?)  :-\

Adorkable characters within some sort of spectrum disorder?  That's a new theory to me.  Please, please, elaborate on some of the evidence.  I am legit curious.

Hey, Lawrence is back.

I want to point out how dorky these two and I love it.  The growth in their relationship and their interactions are great.  Notice Twilight even holding Lawrence's hooves in panel four.  It's subtle, but they are becoming more and more attached.

Actually, I can't say for sure this series is fodder for such speculation, but it wouldn't surprise me if it could be... and the parent show certainly is

Reddit MLP:FIM autism spectrum disorder spec thread

A fan on Reddit looks at Moondancer's debut episode; obsessive fixations, esp. to one's detriment, can be a sign of autism

Moon Dancer and Maud Pie meeting would be an interesting experience.  Both have their own respective obsession--books for the former; rocks for the latter.  Although they probably wouldn't "get" one another, as Moonie has a sense of humor, if a bit of a bent one that could put people off, and likely led to her unintended years of isolation; Maude is more of a cold fish who prefers not to socialize, so she would probably welcome such solitude.

I like this episode because it shows the guys DO still all hang out.  They look like a typical group of guys doing guy things. ;D

Who else would love to see what they are looking at on the phone?

I also don't mean to gloss over your research here.  Thank you for posting and I will look into these.  Interesting.  I never heard of these theories before.

It has been awhile since we've seen someone mention Colgate's supple rear end.  She supposedly has one of the best out there from what characters continue to say.

As for the Austistic character theories, I don't know.... I'm skeptical to think they intentionally did any of that.  Not to ruin any people's hopes and dreams here.  I would think it is more likely AT&F would do it intentionally over the show from 2012.  AT&F is still writing and could very well reveal something in the future with a character we long follow.  Not sure who... but Pinkie?  She's my pick.

^ Exactly right.  It shows us that things have mended over between Soarin' and Zephyr and that Big Mac is just as capable to partake in the "guy talk" as any other dude.  Heck, even Soarin' is too after making a big deal about it.

Good episode.  I don't have much more to add that hasn't already been said.
